We had a dramatic sunset last night thanks to cloud cover and the fires burning in the east county.  While the rest of the country has been sweltering, we just got our first real taste of hot weather last week.   That’s pretty typical because May and June are usually foggy, but this year the marine layer lingered into July.   Though I love this time of year and consider our summer months August-October, fires are a huge problem.   Makes for a great sunset though.  Hope everyone affected by the fires stays safe and they’ll be under control soon!
