This is Jenny with Texas Damn Jones who left us at the end of 2014. Jenny was a frightened puppy when we got her, and Tex, an ex-con of sorts, took her under his wing. He was a semi-wild dog who ran the other way when you called him. Tex was the most untrainable dog in the world. He was dumped in the desert but found by hang glider pilots who passed him around until he found us. We were all devastated by his loss though he lived a long life despite all kinds of injuries. He was our $10,000 dollar rescue. Jenny was depressed for months after his death.
But then we got Sugar, rescued from a dog hoarder. Sugar was probably about 4 weeks old and too young to be taken from her mother. Her mom was beleaguered with too many pups and couldn’t care for them.

Sometimes things work out when you least expect it. Have a great week.
